Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

The Service — what it is and isn’t

Slop Autopsy is an educational, forensic resource for learning to spot AI-generated imagery — a glossary of tells, a daily quiz, case breakdowns, and an annotation tagger. It is not an AI detector or a verification service. Nothing on the Service is a guarantee that any image is or isn’t AI-generated, and you must not rely on it as definitive proof or as a substitute for professional or legal judgment.

Your account

Some features require an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. Notify us at support@slopautopsy.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• upload, store, or share unlawful content, or content you don’t have the right to use;
• upload sexual content involving minors or any other abusive or illegal material;
• abuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service;
• misuse the Service to harass others or infringe their rights.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

Your content

You retain ownership of images and annotations you create or upload (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, store, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you. You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to it.

Premium & billing

The core Service is free. Premium is an optional subscription at $5/month or $48/year, billed through our payment processor, Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep Premium until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices with advance notice; changes apply to the next billing period.

Intellectual property

The Service itself — including the glossary, breakdowns, branding, and software — is owned by MainQuest Labs and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms don’t grant you any right to our trademarks or content beyond using the Service as intended.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any assessment of an image is correct.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MainQuest Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, a notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
